Amidst reports that Deva Katta’s movie with Sai Dharam Tej is a political thriller, the ‘Prasthanam’ and ‘Vennela’ director has opened up about the film’s actual genre.
Speaking to a cine portal, the ‘Autonagar Surya’ maker commented, “More than calling it a political thriller, I would call it a social drama that we can all relate to.”
The film, to be produced by J Bhagawan and J Pulla Rao of JB Entertainments, will be shot once the lockdown goes. The film has ‘Chitralahari’, ‘Brochevarevaruraa’ and ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ actress Nivetha Pethuraj playing the heroine. Its music is by Mani Sharma and cinematography is by Sham Dat.
‘Prati Roju Pandage’ hero Sai Dharam Tej awaits the release of ‘Solo Bratuke So Better’. Without lockdown, it would have arrived on May 1. In the unprecedented scenario, its new release date is yet to be finalized.
