Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently on a break from the shooting of Vishwambara as he recovers from Chikungunya. Mega Star is steadily improving, and production is expected to resume soon. Initially, the team had planned to film an item song in September on a specially constructed set, but the schedule has been postponed. The song is now expected to be shot in October, with the search for the perfect actress for this special number still underway. While several names have been rumored, the team has yet to finalize their choice. A grand set will be erected on the outskirts of the city for this much-anticipated sequence.
Vishwambara, a socio-fantasy film directed by Vassishta, promises to be a blend of entertainment and commercial elements. The film stars Trisha as the female lead, with music composed by M.M. Keeravani. Produced by UV Creations, this big-budget venture is set for a global release on January 10, 2025, and is generating significant buzz among fans.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is busy filming Pushpa 2: The Rule, directed by Sukumar. Like Vishwambara, this film also features a special song, and Sukumar's team has been scouting for the right actress for over six months. Names like Sree Leela and Tripti Dimrii have been mentioned, but no final decision has been made yet. The song, set to a lively tune by Devi Sri Prasad, is scheduled to be shot in the last week of October, following the completion of the primary filming. The delay in securing the right actress has pushed the song's shoot. Pushpa 2: The Rule, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, is slated for a December 6, 2024 release. Rashmika Mandanna reprises her role as the female lead, while Fahadh Faasil plays the primary antagonist.
Both films are highly anticipated and are shaping up to be major releases in the upcoming months.
