It's known that Allu Sirish is currently remaking the Telugu version of Malayalam hit 'ABCD' ('American Born Confused Desi'). Directed by debutant Sanjeev Reddy, it has been produced by Madhura Sridhar Reddy and Yash Rangineni on Madhura Entertainments and BigBen Cinema. Recently, the film's Hindi digital and satellite rights were sold for Rs 2.50 Cr.
The news is that Naga Babu will be seen as the Mega hero's father in this drama. The makers are feeling positive about his presence, especially since he played father to the respective male leads in 'Geetha Govindam' and 'Aravinda Sametha'.
Speaking about the Mega brother's presence, Allu Sirish said, “First of all, I would like to thank Nagababu garu for acting as my father character in 'ABCD'. This is the first time we are acting together. Real life uncle is my reel life father. From the time I heard the script, I could imagine only him as the doting father. So glad we are sharing the screen space finally. Enjoying shooting the scenes with him. All the movies in which he acted a father became a huge success at the box-office and we hope our ABCD will repeat the same magic.”
Ruksan Thillan is the heroine. Bharath, the child artist of 'Dookudu', will be seen as the hero's friend. Judah Sandhy is composing the music.
With almost the entire shoot done but for one schedule, the post-production works are on. The film will hit the screens on February 8.
