Mega hero done with shoot

Allu Sirish, who was shooting for Mohanlal-starrer '1971' (Malayalam), is done with his part for the film. "Wrapped up 1971 shoot. Thank my director Major Ravi and my dear Mohanlal sir for giving me this opportunity. Great experience and fond memories," he has tweeted.
A period drama, Sirish will be seen in a retro look throughout the film. Two days ago, he became nostalgic wile shooting in Pollachi. "Traveling back in time to the '70s. Song shoot for '1971' at Aliyar Dam, Pollachi. Shot here 4 years back for 'Gowravam'. One of the most scenic places I have seen," he has tweeted.
The movie is directed by Major Ravi. Touted as a prequel to 'Keerthichakra' (a famous series), the film is based on the 1971 Indo-Pak war. In this ambitious project, Mohanlal is playing two roles - as Major Mahadevan and his father.
Sirish's Mollywood debut, one hopes, will become a big hit.
