Mega Daughter Niharika Konidela is on her hosting debut in the much-anticipated third season of Aha's culinary extravaganza, Chef Mantra. Chef Mantra season 3 started streaming on Aha OTT on 2 March 2024 and is entertaining everyone. In the meantime, Niharika while promoting the show, came up with a Truth or Dare.

The directors who worked for my movies told me that I have a strong striking eyes and that was the reason why they were casting me. Even my father likes my eyes.

What's happening in your life

I am doing a tamil movie Madraskaaran and Telugu film What The Fish. I do not know about the tentative release of What The Fish but Madraskaaran will release this year. It is a nice film.

Did you any time as an actor called anyone seeking role in any project

I told many directors that I liked their work and expressed my desire to star in their future projects. My favorite director is Sekhar Kammula and I told him. When I went to Fidaa shooting I told him that he was the reason behind my entering into films. He said in future we will work together.

You are into production and acting. Did you ever dream of directing?

No not really. During Muddapappu Avakaya I did acting but had a feeling that it was my own production house. But I incidentally turned producer for the series.

Did you ever scream?

Yes when my brother hit him in the childhood. Even now when my brother raise his hand I will scream. Dad will come and look into it.

Which recent film took you into trance either positively or negatively after watching it

The last film I watched was HanuMan. I really loved it. We are Lord Hanuman devotees and the climax was really good. Even now I listen to Hanuman songs.Superb album and fantastic story.

You have spoken many things in the Podcast. What's the reaction of the people and family and why did you reveal all the things. You kept your private and personal life to yourself as people would judge.

I did not maintain privacy as people would judge but I never felt that I should come forward and put everything in public domain did not want to announce everything in my life to public that these are the happenings in my life. I wasn't interested but during the interview as I was asked I had to answer and even now I am answering because I was asked. I cant hide and it is not something I want to hide. What ever happened happened. But the reaction was very positive. Everyone supported me.

When you are coming from a family, you will be feeling the pressure to give the best and when everything turns upside down in career or personal life, any strong person will get affected. Did you feel anxious or other psychological disorders

I have anxiety but I try to control it doing meditation.

Many people feel psychiatrists and psychology is a taboo

Just like doctors specialising in everything, psychiatrists do treat psychological problems. There is nothing wrong in seeing a psychiatrist.

How do you stop your numerous thoughts?

I don't know. I am still working on it. I get distractions and do one or the other shows like Chef Mantra.

I don't have a crush. I have a crush on Dwyane Johnson but I don't have his number. I like Suriya but I don't have his number.
