'Abhimanyudu', starring Vishal and 'Action King' Arjun in key roles, is a January 26th release. Titled 'Irumbu Thirai' in Tamil, it has Samantha playing the female lead's role.

Introducing the heroine's character from the movie, the makers reveal that the 'Mahanati' and 'Rangasthalam' diva will be seen as a doctor named Rathi Devi in the action-thriller. The First Look of her character has been released (for the Tamil version) and Sam is seen wearing a saree, reminding one of the 'Ye Maya Chesave' look to an extent.

Vishal says, "This is a distinct film from all the ones I have made till now. Content-wise, technical aspects-wise, budget-wise, the film is of a high standard. I am doing this film with a lot of interest both as a hero and as a producer."

It has been directed by PS Mithran. Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. George C Williams is the cinematographer. Dialogues are by Rajesh A Moorthy.
