Padmakumar had signed Meera Jasmine and Prithviraj for his new film. Unfortunately the former had walked out of the film because she was busy in other languages.

With no time lost, the director immediately signed Gopika to play the heroine.

For the first time, Gopika is going to act with Prithviraj. Samvritha Sunil and Sindhu Menon too are going to play important roles in the film.

Gopika is currently acting in a couple of Tamil movies besides Mohanlal's Keerthychakra.
