Meera Jasmine will play Vijayakanth's heroine soon. The actress from the God's Own Country has been cast opposite Captain for his movie to be directed by Vikraman.

Vijayakanth and Vikraman have earlier teamed up to render a hit in ‘Vanathai Pola’. Now the two are coming together after a long gap. T Siva of Amma Creations produces the film.

Vikraman has approached Meera Jasmine to do the female lead and she readily agreed to do the project. She is currently working in a couple of movies including one in Malayalam.
