Meera Nandhan asks why Jayasurya has been skipped

While many are lambasting the selection of awards for the Kerala State Film Awards 2014, cine stars too have come forward to voice their options on the same.
Questioning the award is actress Meera Nandan, who asks why Jayasurya has been overlooked as the best actor.

Meera says that she is happy that Nivin won the award but seeks to know why Jayasurya's performance in 'Apothecary' has not even been considered. Joy Mathew, Vinod Mankara et al to have reacted against the decision. Questions on why movies like 'Ottamandaram', 'Apothecary' etc has not won awards are doing the rounds.
