Yesterday, Meera Mitun had tweeted that ministers like Edappadi Palanisamy and Vijaya Baskar are scaring people with wrong information and that IT raids must be conduct. Why don't we do IT RAID at all these ministers place especially @EPSTamilNadu @CMOTamilNadu @Vijayabaskarofl, find crores of unofficial money stocked up and give one lakh per home of every district in tamilnadu at this economical quarantine lockdown time @PMOIndia @IndiaToday".

Following this, today Meera Mitun has tweeted that she was threatened by people sent by Vijaya Baskar and she has tagged Indian prime minister Narendra Modi as well in the tweet. Her tweet read "Jus because I talk truth , very cheaply @Vijayabaskarofl your sending your people to threaten me to delete the tweet or what, talk to me directly, this govt is totally wrong , everybody is useless and TN is going down @PMOIndia I can explain everything What's going wrong !".
