The third season of the TV reality show, Bigg Boss Tamil, kick-started on June 23 and is being hosted by veteran actor Kamal Haasan for the third consecutive time. Meera Mithun, one of the controversial contestants of the show, was evicted from the house in the episode that aired Sunday night.
Meera, in an exclusive interview to IndiaGlitz, talked about several things, ranging from her stint inside the house to her issues with director Cheran. She started off by saying that she has had trouble bonding with Cheran right from the beginning as he always tried to impose his opinions on her and that he never took her views into consideration. Mentioning one such instance, Meera stated that Cheran used to call her "Karuppu" (dark-skinned) and claimed that that was why most people didn't mingle with her. He apparently told her that nobody would touch his daughter, as she was dark-skinned as well.
Meera, however, would tell him that it's not like that for her and that judging someone based on the colour of their skin was something that did not exist in the environment she grew up in. She further added that she could have made a big deal out of Cheran's racist remark but did not.
