Meera Mithun, the model and former Bigg Boss Tamil inmate, is known for social media controversies. The small-time Kollywood starlet is in the news for a wrong reason. In the past, she has accused South Indian actresses of copying her style.

Meera in a recent interview claimed that the people belonging to the Scheduled Castes are involved in illegal activities and that's why they are facing outrage from the public. She further rambled that a film director belonging to a Paraiyar community stole the first look of her film and used derogatory words against him.

The controversial starlet even alleged that film directors belonging to backward communities should be chucked out of the film industry.

The news is that the Viduthalai Siruthaigal Katchi leader Thol Thirumavalan demanded that she be booked under the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act. Following a complaint by the VCK and other outfits, the cybercrime police have now booked Meera Mithun under seven sections.
