Meera Jasmine is into another commotion following her entry into a temple where non Hindus are not allowed. Meera was seen entering the famous Rajarajeswary temple at Thaliparamba last day night, in a furtive deal to offer 'ponnumkudam' which is a type of ritual attached to this temple etiquette's. Meera was with a producer who helped her to enter temple premises and offer prayer in the temple as little of the staff identified the actress.

Ladies are allowed in this temple only after 'Athaazha Pooja' after eight in the night. As it was a rainy night, no one at first was able to realize the actress who offered the pooja in the name 'Meera, Vishakam nakshatram'. When identified as the actress, the producer is heard to have said that Meera has converted into Hindu religion and must be allowed for the offerings. Soon after that the actress and her crew left the place. The temple committee is planning to offer a shuddhikalasham and Punyaham to clear off the ashudhi that happened following the entry of a non Hindu into the temple.
