Meera Jasmine who is back in Mollywood after a short gap states that acting in Malayalam is like taking the final board exams. ''You definitely need an elaborate preparation before attempting a character in Malayalam”, said Meera in an interview.

The actress who is currently shooting for Rajeev Anchal's film 'Pattinte Palazhi' adds that she is not much bothered about preparations while doing other language films. But while coming to Malayalam films, you cannot take things for granted.

Meera who was last seen in ‘Rathrimazha’ and ‘Minnaminnikkoottam’, pins much of her hope on ‘Pattinte Palazhi’. The actress who is playing a singer in the new heroine centric movie will be shown in three different get ups, as her character Veena passes through three different stages of life. Manoj K Jayan, Jagadheesh and Jagathy Sreekumar are also there in ‘Pattinte Palazhi’, which will be a mid summer release.
