Director Vijayakumar had a tough time to fix a heroine for Jeevan for his forthcoming film ‘Payanigal Gavanathirku’. Almost all the leading heroines declined the offer for some reason or the other. The director finally tried Meera Jasmine.

Surprisingly, the girl from Kerala accepted the offer immediately after hearing the story. Meera, known for her homely appearance on screen, has also accepted to wear modern dresses throughout the film, since the script needs it.

Though director Vijayakumar is happy over these developments, he is now worrying about the news on Meera on her alleged “irregular attendance and frequent tampering with the call sheet”.

But the director is confident that Meera would not make his life tougher. The interest she showed towards the story gives him such a confidence.
