Meenakshi, who made her debut in Tamil with Karuppasamy Kuthagaitharar will romance Sundar C for her next film.
The young actress from Kolkata, won appreciation for her maiden venture. She played the female lead opposite Karan. She is now assigned to play Sundar C's heroine in Perumal. Directed by Vincent Selvah, Perumal features Sundar C, Namitha in lead roles.
Meenakshi has now been roped in to play the second heroine. Vincent Selvah says, "Both Namitha and Meenakshi have enough scope to perform. It is not a triangular love story."
