Actress Meenakshi has replaced Keerath to play the female lead in 'Agam Puram', a movie to be directed by 'Thee Nagar' fame Thirumalai.

'Agam Puram' features Shaam in the lead role and the shooting for the film would begin shortly. It may be recalled that Thirumalai's maiden venture 'Thee Nagar' starring Karan went on to become an average grosser.

Initially Keerath Bhattal was signed to play the female lead. However she has been replaced by Meenakshi at the last moment. Let's see if Shaam and Meenakshi can make the screen sizzle.
