It was reported recently that Meena, who is staying away from acting post marriage, will make a comeback by playing Ramcharan Teja’s mother-in-law in a yet-to-be-titled film, which is being directed by V V Vinayak.

But the actress has scotched off those reports saying that her only priority now is to take of her six-month-old daughter Nainika. “How can I leave her alone now? I wonder from where such rumours originate,” she says.

Meena however is not ready to comment that she would not act in films in future. “It is too early to comment on it. Only time has to decide whether I would stand in front of the camera again or not”

A popular actress in all four south Indian languages, Meena bid adieu to acting after she entered wedlock with Vidyasagar, a Bangalore-based software engineer. “I am enjoying my married life. The arrival of Nainika has added more meaning to it,” she says.
