It is known that actress Meena lost her husband a few months ago to a terminal illness. Vidyasagar, a businessman she had married in 2009, was gone all of a sudden.

For the past few days, sections of the media have speculated that Meena is going to get remarried. Reports claimed that her husband's friend is her groom-to-be.

Meena has roundly condemned the gossip. She suggested that she is yet to recover from the agony of her husband's demise. She urged one and all to respect her privacy.

Netizens are supporting her. "The media needs to show empathy. Unless someone confirms a remarriage or marriage, the media has no business making empty speculations," a Facebook user wrote.

In August, Meena was in the news for pledging her organs. "Organ donation is one of the noblest ways to save lives. It is a boon, a second chance for many who are battling a chronic illness that I personally went through. Wish my husband Sagar was blessed with more donors which could have changed my life! One donor can save 8 lives," she wrote.
