Meena who ruled the south Indian film industry with her impeccable acting style took a break from acting after her marriage to a Bangalore-based engineer. But the lead lady did not shun away from the camera totally. She appeared as a member in judging panels for dance reality shows constantly on television.

Now after a baby, the actress who had been telling friends and folks in the industry that she will not be acting, seems to have nodded her yes to a Telugu film. If news doing the rounds in the south Indian media circles is true, then Meena will soon be seen donning the grease paint as a mother-in-law in a Ram Charan Teja film.

There are some confirmed reports that the actress has penned her name in the casting list. The film which has not been titled yet will be directed by V.V. Vinayak. Meena had been receiving offers non-stop from various industries in the south post her marriage to do supporting roles, which the actress did not accept then.

Looks like this role that she will enact as a mother-in-law is one meaty character!
