Get ready to watch Meena on big screen again. The actress, for the first time post wedding, will be doing an important role in ‘Thambikottai’, a film starring Narain and Prabhu in lead roles.

Directed by debutant R Ammu Ramesh, the movie is produced by producer Balasundaram's (of the famous Devar Films) son-in-law R K Suresh for Thambikottai Rajeswari Films and features Poonam Bajwa opposite Narain.

Prabhu and Meena will perform prominent roles along with Sangeetha, Kausalya, Aarthi, M S Bhaskar, Santhanam, ‘Ganja’ Karuppu, Manobala, Alex, Rajendran, Crane Manohar and Muthukalai. Music will be scored by D Imman.

Says Meena, “I accepted the offer since my role has got enough importance. Also, the storyline is gripping. ‘Thambikottai’ will be important in my career since this is my first film after entering wedlock earlier in this year.”
