Meena Ponnu is back to business after her marriage. As we all heard the actress has signed a deal for ‘Thambikkottai’ the debut venture of director Ammu Ramesh. Now we hear that the lady will be seen in a remake film.

We can still remember the comical family entertainer ‘Varavu Ettana Selavu Pathana’ which had Nassar, Radhika, Goundamani, Senthil, Vadivelu and Kovai Sarala that was released 12 years ago. This super hit film was directed by V Sekar.

Now director V Sekar has planned to remake this Tamil hit in Kannada now. As per the reliable sources, Ramesh Aravind is doing the lead role in this film while Meena is pairing with him. This is actually the first film Meena is acting in after her marriage, though she has committed a few more projects. The shooting of this remake will take off from November 9th.

It’s worthy to mention that V Sekar’s previous films like ‘Viraluketha Veekkam’ and ‘Naan Pudicha Mappillai’ were remade in Kannada and went on to be big hits.
