‘Meeku Maathrame Cheptha’, produced by Vijay Deverakonda, has got U/A from the Censor Board. Its run-time has been locked at 124 minutes.
Starring Tharun Bhascker, Abhinav Gomatam, Varsha Bollamma, and Anasuya Bhardwaj, it will hit the screens on November 1. 'Aaviri' is the other movie coming on that date.
The rom-com is not just about a missing cell phone that hosts a dirty secret. There is more to the story than this. Director Shammer Sulthan, a Kollywoodian, spent four years waiting for the right producer to bankroll it. The story was first offered to Vijay Deverakonda, who said that he will produce it if he makes a name after 'Arjun Reddy'. Since the story doesn't suit his image, Tharun was cast as the lead man.
