At a time when the whole nation is impacted heavily by the Coronavirus pandemic, Doctors, nurses and the medical professionals are the ones who are fighting from the front and risking their own lives along with their families.

Despite their sacrifices, there have been several incidents of Doctors being discriminated by residents in the places they live, besides being attacked and treated badly by people. Actress Anushka Sharma has penned a heartfelt note urging people not ti stigmatize.

Anushka Sharma posted "Deeply disturbed reading some reports about how Coronavirus patients and even some medical professionals who are in frontline taking care of such patients are being discriminately treated. At times like this, it is important that we care for each other and are extremely sensitive to the suffering of others. Let's not treat fellow citizens with disrespect and stigma. It's the time to stay united and stand united."
