#MeToo is empowering women with each one coming out with their harsh experiences, especially so women from showbiz. In recent times, Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta and Tamil singer Chinmayi shocked everyone by their encounters. 

One another popular Tamil actress to voice out her story was Amyra Dastur. “ I had had an actor squeeze himself up against me during a shot in a song and whisper in my ear that he was so glad that I was in the film with him,” she said. She also recalls how when she threw him off her and refused to speak to him again, he made her experience miserable. 

Amyra did not reveal the name of the people as they are powerful in the industry. In addition to this, Amyra was also forced to apologize to the actor for her behavior. She also shockingly revealed that the director of the film asked her to 'suck it up' and couldn't care less.

Amyra also said that she was made to come to the sets early and made to work 18 hours a day and that she was lucky if she got 4-5 hours of sleep. Even though Dastur did not name them she asked 'those people' stop their discriminating ways in the light of change that is happening in the industry.

As far as now, popular names like Vairamuthu, Radha Ravi, Vikas Bahl, and Nana Patekar have been associated with #MeToo revelations.
