It's not for nothing that the makers of 'MCA' have described their movie as a 'Mass Class All centres' blockbuster.
By grossing more than Rs. 27.50 Cr by the end of Saturday, the Venu Sriram-directed movie has also collected a distributors' share of Rs. 18 Cr worldwide. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, its share stands at about Rs. 14 Cr.
Sharing his joy on his Twitter page, the Natural Star said this much on Saturday: "THANK YOUUUU. Is it too early for me to say that ?? Ok will say it again a week later then :) Love, Nani."
Nani's image, the family entertainer vibes carried by 'MCA' and the release ensured by Dil Raju, have all gone into making 'MCA' a stellar opening film at the BO. Sai Pallavi's popularity, thanks to 'Fidaa', must have also been a crowd-puller of reckoning.
