Yesterday, the audio launch of Yogi Babu starrer Gurkha directed by Sam Anton of Darling and 100 movies took place in Chennai, and the event had the presence of prominent personalities like Siddharth, SP Balasubrahmanyam, Mayilsamy and many others.

Speaking during the event, Mayilsamy praised Sam Anton and Yogi Babu, and revealed how he got connected with SP Balasubrahmanyam and the help the singer had done for him. Mayilsamy revealed that it was during Payanangal Mudivathillai movie's song recording that he first met SPB, and then revealed his help.

As Mayilsamy used to frequently  visit Thiruvannamalai during karthigai, the people there had requested Mayilsamy to ask SPB to come and sing during the Karthigai Deepam. When Mayilsamy had requested SPB, he had questioned on the crowd on that day, and as Mayilsamy said there'll be 25 lakhs in Thiruvannamalai and 25000 in the temple, SPB just asked if he could sing and come out despite the crowd, and immediately accepted to perform. As SPB came to Thiruvannamalai, till date I am being respected in Thiruvannamalai, said an emotional Mayilsamy.
