Mayavi to release on R-day

Mayavi starring Mammootty and Gopika will hit the screens on 26 January, 2007.

After the success of Thommanum Makkalum, Mammootty and Shafi come together again for Mayavi.

This film tells the story of a Mahi IAS played by Mammootty, who is a strict officer. His way of solving problems is quite different. Gopika plays the female lead.

Vijaya Raghavan, Salim Kumar, Manikuttan, Sai Kumar, Jajathi, Manoj K.Jayan, Spadikam George, K PA C Lalitha are also in the cast.

The film is scripted by director Rafi Mecartin. Sanjeev Shankar is the cinematographer. Lyrics by Vayalar Sarath Chandra Varma have been set to tune by Alex Paul.
