Mayavi graces theatres today

Mammootty will have his first commercial release of the year today in 'Mayavi'. The film which will be released in 43 centers all around the state will present Mammootty in a comedy filled action role in the scripts of Rafi -Mecartin.
The film is looked upon with much interest as Mammootty was not able to convert any of the films in the last eight months into big hits. Last year too, Mammootty had only a single mega hit in Thuruppu Gulan while Pothen Vava and BalramVs Taradas just managed to be safe. While the other four of the last year releases turned out to be flops, much is expected from Shafi to repeat the magic of creating big hits with Mammootty like 'Thommanum Makkalum'.
