Mayank Agarwal hit a fluent double century today the second day of India vs Bangladesh first test that is underway in Indore. This is the second double for the Karnataka batsman who converted his maiden hundred against the South Africans in October. Virat Kohli was seen urging his opener from the dressing room to go for the milestone which was heartening to watch.
Mayank Agarwal who was dismissed for 243 hit 28 fours and 8 sixes using up 330 balls making it one of the most entertaining test innings in recent times. A record too has been created in the process for the fewest innings between the first two double hundreds with Mayank going past Sir Donald Bradman's record of 13 innings and now he is second only to Vinod Kambli who scored his second double after only two innings and holds the world record.
