Mayakkam enna which was directed by Selvaraghavan and had Dhanush and Richa Gangopadhyay playing lead roles released on this day before 9 years. The movie and it's female lead character Yamini are still being celebrated by many.

Now on the 9th anniversary of release, actress Richa Gangopadhyay who played Yamini and won great reviews for her performance has opened up on how movies changed herself to focus on passion towards MBA and how she has no regrets about quitting acting. She has also said that in real life she's Karthik and her husband Joe is her Yamini, supporting her in everything.
