May: Twelve films. At least!

The month of May is going to see a raft of movies hitting the screens week after week. Is this the case in all Summer months? No. When there are superstar movies releasing, small films have no option but to wait in the wings. Last year, April and May saw the release of three mammoth releases - 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh', 'Sarrainodu' and 'Brahmotsavam', all of which together ate up the space.
This year, other than 'Baahubali-2' ('Katamarayudu' is excluded because it hit before Ugadi), there is no big release in the two months. With 'DJ' having been moved to June 23, many knew it's a blessing.
'Babu Baga Busy' on May 5, 'Kesava' on May 12, 'Rarandoy Veduka Chuddam' in third week, 'Angel' on May 19, Raj Tarun's 'Andhagadu' on May 26, Mohankrishna Indraganti-directed 'Ami Tumi', 'Fashion Designer S/o Ladies Tailor', Gopichand's 'Aaradugula Bullet' and 'Gautham Nanda', Nayanthara-starrer 'Vasuki' (dubbed), Rahul Ravindran's 'Howrah Bridge' are some of the films that have confirmed their berth. Krishna Vamsi-directed 'Nakshatram' too will hit the screens sometime in that month.
That takes the count to 12 films!
