Shooting 70 scenes in 65 locations most of them in indoor the Kannada film 'Rana' audio was released at Ramanasri Blind School instead of spending lavishly on a five star hotels. This thought of releasing audio in the presence of blind children was appreciated by director S Narayan who was the chief guest for his son's first outside film. Director Srinivasamurthy stated there is a reason behind conducting the audio at Ramanasri Blind School that you would know when you watch the film.

With proud father next to him actor of five films Pankaj Narayan stated that he was groomed well and guarded wonderfully by his father. Working in outside banner is a new experience. There was scope for acting and my intention is to work hard for good shape up of the film explained Pankaj Narayan.
