Matt Damon starrer THE MARTIANS locked for 2nd October, 2015 in India

The much awaited space action adventure film 'The Martian', will release in India on 2nd October. The film is to release in India on the same day as the US.

In India The Martian is pitted against Akshay Kumar starrer 'Singh is Bliing' and considering 2nd October is Gandhi Jayanti the film will get a three day long release window. It would be interesting to see who the public will opt for, Matt Damon Starrer 'The Martian' or Akshay Kumar starrer 'Singh is Bling'? It is Hollywood v/s Bollywood yet again this Gandhi Jayanti!

The Martian film is directed by Ridley Scott and is based on Andy Weir's 2011 novel The Martian. The film also features Jessica Chastain,Kristen Wiig, Jeff Daniels, Michael Peña, Kate Mara, Sean Bean, Sebastian Stan, Aksel Hennie, and Chiwetel Ejiofor in supporting roles.
