Vishal Bhardwaj for the first time gets a U/A certificate for his film. Going by the list of his filmography, most of the films made by the filmmaker had received ‘A’ - Ishqiya, Kaminey, 7 Khoon Maaf to name a few.

Except ‘Makdee’; the children’s film through which he made his directorial debut.

And now Bhardwaj’s latest romantic comedy ‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’ (MKBKM) has been passed by the Central Board of Film Certification with a 'U/A' certificate.

Incidentally MKBKM is also different from Bhardwaj’s signature movies which are usually not fit for family audience. The filmmaker-music composer in fact always wanted to make a movie which will reach wider audience and that’s how MKBKM was given shape.

Starring Imran Khan, Anushka Sharma and Pankaj Kapur, MKBKM is waiting for its release on Jan 11 2013.
