The comedy-thriller 'Mathu Vadalara', which hit the screens in December last, is reportedly going to be remade in Bollywood. Debutant director Ritesh Rana of the Telugu original will wield the megaphone.
As per a Deccan Chronicle report, the remake is going to come up with a "new spin to the narrative". The script is currently being written.
In fact, producer Chiranjeevi (Cherry) and director Ritesh Rana's earliest plan was to make the film simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi in 2017. For some reason, they couldn't do it.
With 'MV' becoming a critically-acclaimed flick and a decent box-office performer, the makers are now enthused to tell it to the national audience.
The film starred Sri Simha, Naresh Agasthya, Athulya Chandra, Vennela Kishore and others. Music was by Kaala Bhairava.
