Mathu Vadalara is like sweet & kaaram: Rajamouli

Rajamouli was the chief guest at the pre-release event of 'Mathu Vadalara'. Speaking on the occasion, he was emotional about Sri Simha and Kaala Bhairava, Keeravani's sons, who are testing their luck with this comedy entertainer.

"They have taken a year to make 'Mathu Vadalara'. How is it wrong if I take three years?" Rajamouli began his speech saying, on a lighter note.

Addressing aspiring directors, the 'RRR' director said, "Those of you who are trying to get into movies, make sure the producer trusts you. It's not just about the story. The director of 'Mathu Vadalara' won the trust of his producer that he can handle everything efficiently. Ritesh Rana got teams for Visual Effects, etc in place to win the producer's faith in him."

"Producer Cherry is a systematic and meticulous producer. He is like that in personal life as well. It's something that I want to learn from him. When he is around, the budget never overshoots. He never overspends anywhere. 'Yama Donga' was a big project but it was completed pretty fast, thanks to him," Rajamouli said.

"I am very emotional about Simha and Kaala Bhairava making a debut as an actor and a music director, respectively. Watching 'Mathu Vadalara' felt like eating sweet and hot. Bhairava's music is nice. I may be biased in favour of them because they are my family. It's now up to the audience to bless them. The audience will ditch someone if they don't like their film. If they like the film, they will embrace them. It's as simple as that. I urge my followers to give your honest opinions about this film," he said.

Rajamouli urged everyone to watch the movie on December 25.
