The 100th film of Dinesh Baboo as cameraman and director `Madhondhu Madhuvena' has a neat and tidy stuff for the family audience and all important is the clever handling and informing the elders if they go wrong they have to face the music from children.

`Mathondhu Madhuvena' is not having a great story but great performances make this film worth watching. The comedy timing of all the actors are so good (bit over acting from Suhasini Manirathnam).

A sequel to `Eradane Madhuve' this `MM' starts off with a marriage of the daughter of the house lead by Malavika and Vishwas (Suhasini Manirathnam and Ananthnag). The daughter who gets married is Mrudula (Priyanka) and her husband is Vivek (Naveen Krishna) a businessman.

Malavika and Vishwas have wrong notions that the just married become like them in life and suffer. So Malavika educate Mrudula her daughter with various measures to control her husband and Vishwas on the other hand gives tricky tips to Vivek to exercise control on his wife Mrudula that his nothing but his own daughter.

The just married couple in the process of adhering to elders spoils their life and a major mistake committed by a doctor in the hospital further creates confusion.

It is high time that the facts should be ascertained feels Mrudula and Vivek. Finally children teach the elders a lesson of their life.

Naveen Krishna is superb. Priyanka is admirable. Ananthnag and Suhasini have come out very well in their portions of elders of the family. The perfect comedy timing of Thara, Sharan, Raju Thalikote makes this film to sit through and watch. The only dragging aspect is that of Jennifer Kotwal portion. That could have been chopped off.

There is only one song well tuned by Giridhar and well sung too. Cinematography Suresh Byrasandra gives accurate looks to the eyes.

For a family audience this is worth a `Dekko'!

Scoring 7/10
