If we all thought only Sukumar's background as a mathematics teacher could be traced by his latest film, we are only half-informed. Even Rakul Preet Singh's academic qualification of graduation in Mathematics was reflected in a scene in Nannaku Prematho.

"In a fight scene, NTR asks me to turn the shoe by 45 degrees. When Sukumar explained me the scene, I asked him whether I should turn it clock-wise or anti-clock-wise. To this, Sukumar told me only a mathematics student can think like this," Rakul said in an interview.

He further told her that he selected her to do the role for the same reason.
