Actors Atharvaa and Manikandan are teaming up for the upcoming series titled "Mathagam" on Disney+Hotstar. The Producers have released the teaser for the series. Directed by Prasath Murugesan of "Kidaari" and "Queen" fame, "Mathagam" also stars Nikhila Vimal in a lead role and is produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment.
The word "Mathagam" refers to the forehead of an elephant, and the thriller revolves around a sincere IPS officer who takes on a crime syndicate led by an evil mastermind. Atharvaa plays the cop, while Manikandan portrays the gangster. Manikandan's recent film "Good Night" received a good response from fans, and his performance in "Jai Bheem" has elevated him as one of the leading heroes of Tamil cinema.
