When Masumi Makhija made her debut in 'Chupke Se' opposite Zulfi Syed, there was a media overdrive created which hailed her as a promising new entrant.

Even before the film released, there were talks that she had 7 prestigious projects in her kitty. Though it’s a different story that only 2 projects really materialized after that - 'Maqbool', where she had a miniscule role and 'Padmashree Laloo Prasad Yadav', a film where she was the center of attraction but the film failed to gain any attention.

Now she is back in limelight again with a supporting role in Vishesh Films' 'Woh Lamhe'. While the spotlight has been firmly on Kangana Ranaut and Shiney Ahuja for the film's promotion, as the film gets ready for release even Masumi is being featured in the promos.

Come September 29th and the final product would tell if 'Woh Lamhe' indeed proves to be the turning point of Masumi's career.
