Yet another Kannada cinema to trim after first release is this Masthi Gudi`. From 150 minutes the film is short by 12 minutes. Some changes in the climax and deletion has been made after a thorough discussion and feed back from the audience the new trim was affected.

In consultation with producer P Sundar Gowdru and hero of the film Dhuniya Vijay the necessary changes have been incorporated says Nagashekhar.

Nagashekhar said Vijay has given complete support to this film and it is he who gave the story and told that you can use me in any way for the film. As of now from the second week Masthi Gudi` is bit short in length. He is waiting for the people reaction. He as clearly stated that there was no pressure from anyone for making of this film.

Rangayana Raghu in his address at the success meet of Masthi Gudi` stated that Nagashekhar has different type of dream from others while making this film. According to information he has gathered, the collections are impressive in northern Karnataka region.

The first three days collection was tremendous, and then the IPL and rain affected quite a bit is the information made available from Jack Manju. He is very confident of further progress in the box office with changed version. Dhuniya Vijay expressed happiness for some of the good reviews the film has got. In some cases the mixed reactions have also come for the film.

Producer Sunder P Gowdru did not give the figures of collection of this Masthi Gudi`.
