We brought you the hot news that Thalapathy Vijay met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Pazhanisamy at around 10 pm on Sunday. It is said that the megastar requested the state head to allow a hundred percent occupancy in theaters to revive the film industry from doldrums due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The latest official update from XB Film Creators suggests that the Vijay-EPS meeting has been fruitful. The production house has confirmed that the release date of 'Master' will be announced at 12.30 pm on December 29th.

Earlier the Tamil Nadu theater owners association president Tirupur Subramaniam revealed that 'Master' will hit the screens on January 13th which may be confirmed officially tomorrow.

'Master' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and jointly produced by XB Film Creators and Seven Screen Studios has music by Anirudh Ravichander. The ensemble star-cast comprises of Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shantanu Bhagyaraj and Arjun Doss.
