The year 2020 has turned out to be a rare disappointing one for Thalapathy Vijay fans as none of his films could release due to the coronavirus pandemic and its almost certain that there isn't going to be one too. The biggie 'Master' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi in all probability will release only in early 2021 that too if the response for theaters shows an upward trend in the coming months.

Fans have been starved of any major update from their idol and most of them are expressing their wish to see the 'Master' teaser on social media. Lokesh Kanagaraj has already made it clear that only after the release date is fixed the teaser and trailer dates will be planned.

On top of this the mood of Vijay and his fans is not too got over the past week as the star's father S.A. Chandrasekhar has gone public with starting a political party against the wishes of his son.

Industry insiders feel that the 'Master' teaser if unveiled on Diwali would make the Thalapathy fans super happy and it would also serve as compensation for their disappointments. It remains to be seen if XB Film Creators and Seven Screen Studios would oblige or the fans have to wait longer to catch a glimpse of the much-loved star's swag and style
