Malavika Mohanan debuted in Tamil in 'Petta' directed by Karthik Subbaraj and starring Superstar Rajinikanth and Vijay Sethupathi in which she played a small but pivotal role as Sasikumar's wife. Her very next project is as Thalapathy Vijay's pair in 'Master' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj which was slated for release on April 9th but had to be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
