Actor Santhanu, son of veteran actor - director K Bhagyaraj has been looking out for a big break, and after acting in several movies as the lead, is now looking forward to the release of Vijay starrer Master directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Recently, there was a rumour making the rounds that Santhanu might be a part of the Maniratnam mega multistarrer Ponniyin Selvan starring Jayam Ravi, Vikram, Trisha, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai and many others and now Santhanu has clarified on the same.

Santhanu has revealed in a recent interview that director Dhana had told him that his name was in consideration, after Maniratnam liked his performance in Dhana's Vaanam Kottattum which was produced by Maniratnam, but couldn't cast him as he looked younger to play the role. Thus Santhanu made it clear that he's not acting in Ponniyin Selvan.
