Actor Karthi who was last seen on screen in Dev, is all set to have his second release with Kaithi, which is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj who had made a successful debut with the Sri, Sundeep Kishan starrer Managaram released before few years.

Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures SR Prabhu, Kaithi is about events happening in a night and about a prisoner Dilli played by Karthi and a jailbreak episode. It has now been made official that Kaithi, which will also release simultaneously in Telugu has been censored U/A.

Kaithi marks the return of actor Narain who had acted in hits like Anjathey, Chithiram Pesuthadi, in a supporting role, besides Chetan, Kalakka Povathu Yaaru Dheena, Vatsan, and Arjun Das in a negative role. The movie has music by Sam CS and is expected to release on October 27.
