Massive Piracy Hunt

The Kannada Film Producers Association has formed a secret committee that goes in search of the piracy and hunt in the legal format.
On Tuesday the team headed by Umesh Banakar, Kari Subbu, Ganesh and a few others barged in to the den of piracy operator Shanker and recovered over 1 lakh piracy DVD that contains films of Hudugaru, Saju Weds Geetha, Johny Mere Naam and a few other Kannada films.
Shanker who was caught hails from Ramanagara district admitted that the piracy is made from adjacent states and brought to Karnataka.
Producer Association President Munirathna Naidu who came to the spot where one lakh VCD and DVD was seized urged the government of Karnataka to immediately introduce Anti Goonda Act to track down the piracy operators.
