Now it can be confirmed, Mass is on the way to becoming a heavy grosser.

The film has opened to tremendous collections. And Nagarjuna, who is the producer of the film, can afford a laugh --- on his way to the bank, that is.

The film has been accepted as a stylized mass film and has gone down well with critics and fans.

It has also gone down well with Nags himself. Understanding that he is on something big, the first thing that Nags has done is to call up the director Lawrence and congratulate him.

The debutant director has shown a fine understanding of the medium and has come up with a product that he can be legitimately proud of.

The other thing about Mass is that Nagarjuna has not been selfish and did not hog all the centre stage. He went out of the way to accommodate others and that strategy seems to have paid rich dividends.

Mass, quite simply, is no dead weight.
