While Madurai city’s has been known for tasty parotta as one of its special delicacies, now during the tough times of the Coronavirus pandemic, a restaurant in the city is creating awareness about the pandemic via parotas.

KL Kumar’s Temple City restaurant has been making parottas in the shape of face masks to create awareness among people about the deadly Coronavirus. In the past two weeks, there has been a huge spike in Madurai’s active Coronavirus, which made Kumar think of an awareness idea.

The restaurant owner has said that despite corporation order mandating people to wear masks, many people are violating the rules and hence he implemented this parota idea to create awareness and the parota costs 50 Rs each. Besides, the restaurant also gives a free face mask to people coming to the restaurant without a mask.
